This reminded me.
Hello there! I'm Yuushuu Eli. I was behind my friend "Lunacy Restwe" in the Hart contest.
I was gonna note you my thoughts on your entry but decided to wait until you may post the entry instead but I forgot that before long.

hey there! i've been expecting you! hey, that's okay! you can do it now if you'd like, i'd love to hear your thoughts on it :)

So I made an impression.
I tried to find your entry on his facebook and recall what I said there but could't find it.

I actually like that one slightly better. Simply because: While this drawing is really beautiful with her face being the best I've seen, I liked the other ones expression better for the message. She looked so sad and fragile and here she looks like "cute gothic girl are cute gothic girl" And that maybe what your going for; That she conciously keep the rainbows out.

I also wanted to say that I had trouble understanding the raindow backround. Now I said that on the last one and you explained it. And here when you have the titel you can figure out what it means. But if I would have made it I would have the rainbows interacting more with the girl. Like, having the rainbows dripping down the umbrella alittle more so it dosen't look like a random backround.

Ofcourse no disrespect and you are free to completely ignore any point since y'know Hart for some reason completely ignored my entry (that whitewashed wanker!)

indeed, that was what i was going for! i wanted her to be kind of "emotionless" in this one, but then decided to have her finally "break down" from holding it in so long. so in this one i kind of wanted her expression to be... neutral? i'm not sure if that's the word, but to be kind of emotionless and have a straight face like she's not even accepting the fact that something's wrong.

yes, in the digital one, the one i did for the contest, the rainbow absolutely horrified me... i had no idea what i was doing for after i awhile i was like "screw it, i'm just going to leave it alone because no matter how many times i redraw it, it never looks any better" so i kind of just wanted to leave it be.

no no, i want to know other people's opinions on my art, positive and negative(unless it's really rude and mean and trying to get me down by saying negative things about it). aw, i'm sorry, that sucks :( i don't know why he would do that... like completely ignore it

I agree that reviews are really helpful. An unbiased opinion is gold for artistic growth isn't it?
Hey, if you have time, and interest obviously, would you want to tell me what you think of my entry?

Oh and where you in the contest hart posted before this one? This one here…

i think so! i think it's good to acknowledge your own flaws and try to improve on them :)
sure! is it on your deviantart?
mm, no, i wasn't. this was the first art contest chris hart held that i entered.

Yep. Here it is…
Also this was my entry for that other contrest…
Well not really since he made some no colour rules in that, but this was how it was supposed to look.
That one was a huge success too, I made the honourable mentions and got a cool endorsment.

okay, cool! i'll check it out when i get the chance :)
ooh, that's awesome :) i got into the honorable mentions in the contest i entered
Ahh you redid it?
Love the eyes. They look... deeper, somehow (lighting?)

nope~! the first picture i uploaded was taken from my crappy tablet camera, because at the time i couldn't get on the computer so i couldn't take a picture of it with my better camera, which has much better quality (although its still pretty bad, it took me a long time to figure out how to use it properly), so i just took another picture with the better camera :3
